Older posts had 3 beds. The double and a single but most posts reduced these to just the double to save on space. Standard army issue but surprisingly comfortable. The white sheet under the mattress is the “mattress protector”, so called as its job was to stop the springs wearing into the mattress. Although the mattress was thin, they too are surprisingly comfy. Standard scratchy blankets as well, not so comfy.
