I had really wanted to visit this post for sometime. We were on holiday in Fort William and I couldn’t resist. I had tracked down the farmer two months earlier and he met me at the post. He likes to keep the building intact but was most generous. GZI satchel, Toilet rolls, Glitto – bLue & Khaki !!!, GZI paper (Sealed), paperwork, gaskets, cups and plates. It felt like Christmas come early. The bpi pipe is smaller than normal and it was unusual to see the pin for securing the hatch from the inside. Great guy to meet, his mum served in the ROC at this very post.
