I was given a heads up that this post may be a gold mine of brick-a-back. I contacted the Golf Club and got permission to salvage. Turns out the Fortrose ROC post was a time capsule. What was still there was in near perfect condition. The views around it are beautiful. It is situated in the middle of the Golf Course. When myself and my brother (pictured) turned up, my hopes weren’t high as the sea had corroded a hole in the FSM pipe but wow. Couldn’t believe my luck when I opened it.
